Kisan Card 10 Lakh Application Received
10 Lakh applications have been received for the registration under Kisan Card. The Kisan Card will be issued to the farmers through Bank of Punjab. All such farmers who are eligible will soon receive a Kisan Card by Bank of Punjab. Once they get the Kissan Card they will get the benefit.
After using the Kisan card, they will be able to get a loan of Rs 30,000 per acre for fertilizer, seed, spray, etc. for their crops and they will be able to repay it in easy installments. Apart from this, Kisan Card will be eligible for all schemes launched by Agri Punjab.
Once the farmers get the Kisan card, they will be able to benefit from the Green Tractor Scheme, Agriculture Transformation Program, and all the other programs that have been launched. Farmers who are not yet registered should send their identity card to 8800 which will register them and they will be notified through SMS to go and get their Kissan Card.

Issuance of Kisan Card by the Bank of Punjab
Cards The Bank of Punjab would issue cards to the farmers. Soon, all such farmers who come under eligibility criteria shall receive their cards and thus take up the benefit of the many schemes unveiled under the programme.
