The chief minister Punjab Apna chat Apna Ghar housing scheme will construct over 3000 houses in every district of Punjab.
The scheme will start operations initially in five big cities. Among them are Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Sargodha. In Lahore, 5,000 houses will be built in the first phase. According to government officials, the objective of this housing project is to provide permanent low-cost houses to low-income families.
How to Return Loan for Apni Chat Apna Ghar Program
In this scheme, the major features are the cheaper houses. Every house was valued at Rs. 1.5 million; but, by offering a concession of 60%, the residents would have to bear the amount of 40%. This 40% may be paid in installments every month covering five years. They would have to pay 26,000 per month. This scheme ensures even an economically weaker section of society can fulfill their dream of having a house of their own.
