Punjab Chief Minister’s Solar tubewell Program is based on the support given to farmers by providing solar energy as replacing an electric motor with a solar-powered pump helps decrease use of electricity. Maryam Nawaz has been spearheading this initiative to bring these expensive electricity and fuel relying farmers into a transitionary phase of solar energy in agriculture.
