Excellent news. Last date to apply for the Punjab Dhee Rani Program has been extended till November 15. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has initiated the Dhee Rani Program for the marriage of 3,000 poor families of Punjab. The Punjab government will pay all the expenses incurred on the wedding in this program.
In this joint marriage program, 13 basic commodities are being presented to the girls in the dowry, worth Rs 206,000 and one lakh Islamic rupees will also be given at marriage time. Besides, free of cost food facility will also be made available to 20 persons attending the marriage functions. Earlier, the last date for registration was November 5. But with the increase in interest of people towards it, the date for registration has now been extended till November 15.
All candidates have been required to be registered online. Online registration can only be done through this official website, cmp.punjab.gov.pk. Once at the website, you will need to click on the register button and create your account. After creating the account, log in through identity card number and password. If you log in, a registration form will open in front of you, which requires uploading the bride’s information, the bride’s parents’ information, the groom’s information, the groom’s parents’ information, and a copy of identity cards of all these people.
After that, you are to read the affidavit and accept it; after it gets accepted, your registration will be completed.
After registration, if more than three thousand application forms are received in this program, then the families will be selected through a computerized lottery, and their children’s marriage expenses will be paid.
