Qualification & Experience Required for WAPDA Careers 2024:-

Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical):-

BE/B Sc in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4. Valid PEC registration as an Electrical Engineer.

Assistant Executive Engineer Mechanical:-

BE/B Sc in Electrical Mechanical from a recognized University with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4. Valid PEC registration as an Electrical Engineer.

Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronic):-

BE/B Sc in Electrical Electronic from a recognized University with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4. Valid PEC registration as an Electrical Engineer.

Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil):-

BE/B Sc in (Civil) Engineering from an HEC-recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 20 out of 4. Valid PEC registration.

Jr. Seismologist/ Geophysicist:-

M.Sc. in Seismology/Geophysics (Second Division/20 CGPA out of 4) from a HEC recognized university OR
4 years/8 semesters Honours degree in Seismology/Geophysics from a HEC recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.

Assistant Executive Engineer (Agriculture):-

B.E / B.Sc (Agriculture) Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum 2.0 CGPA out of 4. Also having valid PEC registration.

Jr. Geologist:-

M.Sc Geology (2nd Division / 2.0 CGPA out of 4) from a recognized University.

Research Officer (Stat/Math):-

MA/ M.Sc in Statistics (Mathematics) & 2nd Division 2.0 CGPA out of 4 from a recognized University.

Research Officer (Ground Water Hydrology):-

Audit Officer:-

CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) / ACCA (Member) OR

M.Com / MBA (Finance) / BBA Finance (Hors) / B.com Hors with 2nd Division 2.0 CGPA out of 4. Also, have 2 years post qualification experience in Audit & Accounts of Government Departments.

Important Instructions for Water & Power Development Authority WAPDA Jobs 2024:-

The written test will be conducted by M/s OTS and the interview will be conducted by WAPDA.
A general relaxation of 05 years has already been added to the age limit.
A relaxation of 03 years will be admissible to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist communities, Recognised Tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. A relaxation of 03 years of age will be admissible to candidates belonging to Sindh (Rural) and Balochistan only for the posts of BPS-15 and below.
A relaxation of 10 years will be admissible to disabled persons applying against the disabled quota.
There is a relaxation of up to 10 years in the upper age limit for Govt. / WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous regular service as of the last date of receipt of applications.
Age will be calculated as per the last date of receipt of applications.
Candidates already serving in WAPDA shall apply through the WAPDA HR Division and submit requisite NOC/Permission.
Only children of WAPDA employees are eligible to apply against the quota reserved for children of WAPDA employees. Children of employees of DISCOs, GENCOs, NTDC, etc. are not eligible to apply against the quota of children of WAPDA employees.
Candidates applying under the WAPDA Employees’ Children Quota (ECQ) shall have to submit the following required documents at the time of the interview.
an Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper by the WAPDA employee and a certificate from the concerned WAPDA office that there is no son/daughter employed under WAPDA ECQ in the past.
b Documentary proof of employment of father/mother in WAPDA.
Government employees may apply through the proper channels and submit the requisite NOC/Permission.
Educational certificates/degrees should be attested from HEC-recognized universities/relevant boards/institutions.
Original documents will be produced at the time of the interview with the candidates.
Initial appointment will be on probation for a period of 01 year and regularization will be subject to satisfactory performance.
The written examination will be conducted by M/s OTS and the interview will be conducted by WAPDA.
A relaxation of 10 years will be admissible for PWDs applying against disability quota.
The upper age limit is relaxed by up to 10 years for Govt./WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous continuous service as of the last date of receipt of applications.
Age will be calculated as per the last date of receipt of applications.
Candidates already serving in WAPDA shall apply through the WAPDA HR Division and submit requisite NOC/Permission.
WAPDA reserves the right to stop/cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates for test/interview.
Applications received with incomplete/wrong information or after the last date will be rejected.
Any information provided by the candidates during induction or later during service at any stage will result in dismissal.
